Review: Balancing Organic Moisturiser from LJ’s Natural Solutions

LJ’s Natural Solutions is the brainchild of Lisa Johnson, an aromatherapist who is based in Cheshire, England. Like many natural and organic skincare companies it was born out of the fact that Lisa has sensitive skin and couldn’t find the type of products she wanted to use in the shops. Lisa asked if I’d like to try her Balancing Organic Moisturiser and popped a generous sample pot in the post to me.

My aim is to create great products that make people feel better and smell lovely, without harming the environment, and at a very affordable price.

I found this to be a rich, nourishing cream moisturiser and a little goes a long way so apply sparingly and gently massage in over the face and neck. As always remember to look at your skin and touch it too before deciding on which product and how much of it to use whatever time of year.

For all skin types, a luxurious moisturiser with geranium & roman chamomile oils, both very therapeutic, helpful for dry skin, wrinkles, eczema, psoriasis, spots & oily skin. Massage into your face & neck morning and evening for touchably soft skin.

Results: Skin instantly feels plumper and incredibly soft. As I only had a sample pot to review I can’t comment on long-term effects but I think I would be pleased.

Fragrance: Beautiful subtle rose scent which I loved.

For my combination skin, I found it a little too heavy for a hot summer’s day but great for nightime and I think it will be fantastic for cold winter days. If you have dry skin, then I would recommend you give it a try too. Lisa tells me that since she was featured in Red magazine she’s been inundated with orders.
